The journal Serbian Journal of Anesthesia and Intensive Therapy (SJAIT) publishes original papers that have not been published previously. (original articles: Meta-analyses, Review Articles, Case Reports, Letters to the Editor, Reports from Scientific and Professional Meetings, Works from the History of Medicine.
Serbian Journal of Anesthesia and Intensive Therapy is an Open Access journal.
Contributions to journal may be submitted in Serbian or English language.
The Journal is issued as the double issue, four times a year.
Serbian Journal of Anesthesia and Intensive Therapy is official publication of Serbian Association of Anesthesiologists and Intensivists.
The papers should cover topics in one of the following areas: scientific and professional work on theoretical and clinical aspects of anaesthesiology, intensive therapy, resuscitation and pain therapy. The journal also publishes scientific work from other related scientific disciplines: clinical pharmacology, clinical physiology and pathophysiology, surgery, internal medicine, forensic medicine, emergency medicine and other fields of medicine dealing with problems related to preoperative preparation, anaesthesia, resuscitation, intensive therapy and pain therapy.
Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia has categorized SJAIT into category M52 of scientific journals.
Serbian Journal of Anesthesia and Intensive Therapy is an Open Access journal with no fee for АРС (Article Processing Charge). All articles published in SJAIT are available for free download fom the official site and may be used freely in its original form for non commercial purposes.
The journal number 2016;38(5-6) from September 2016. is first on line issue.
Open access policy
Journal Serbian Journal of Anesthesia and Intensive Therapy is published under an Open Access licence. All its content is available free of charge. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search the full text of articles, as well as to establish HTML links to them, without having to seek the consent of the author or publisher.
The right to use content without consent does not release the users from the obligation to give the credit to the journal and its content in a manner described under Licensing .
Archiving digital version
In accordance with law, digital copies of all published volumes are archived in the legal deposit library of the National Library of Serbia and concurrently in the Repository of SCIndeks – The Serbian Citation Index as the primary full text database.
Article processing charge
Journal Serbian Journal of Anesthesia and Intensive Therapy does not charge authors or any third party for publication. Both manuscript submission and processing services, and article publishing services are free of charge. There are no hidden costs whatsoever.
